Adoption Event: Saturday, November 17

These are some of the cats and kittens who may be at our next adoption event this Saturday, November 17, from noon to 4 pm at Petco, 32391 Camino Capistrano in San Juan Capistrano.

You can see all of our adoptable cats and kittens at https://www.southerncountiesrescue.org/adopt.

We are often asked if is it okay to bring in a cat the week before having company for dinner? The answer is, “it’s fine.” A new kitty needs time to adjust to his home, so that means initially being kept in a quiet room where it can get used to the new scents of the home and family. Just leave your new family member in a closed room, without a lot of visitors, and they will be perfectly fine.

Please come by Saturday to meet some super cat and kittens, — Pawdry Hepburn, Sissy, Tommy, Cheddar, Batman, Thing One & Thing Two, Simon, Antonia, Bear, Winfried, Chippy, Grey, Reece, George, Fred, Peanut, and more characters will be there waiting to meet you!

Please complete a no-obligation adoption application (https://bit.ly/SCRAdopt) if you’d like to meet a particular kitty this Saturday. Not all kitties attend all events, and we give priority to those with applications on file.

Thank You PacLife!

We are so grateful to our friends at @pacificlife for their $1500 grant to support our ongoing rescue efforts.

We believe on giving every cat and kitten a fighting chance at life, which often results on substantial vet bills. This grant will assist us in further efforts. You can help us too – no donation is too small! https://www.southerncountiesrescue.org/https://www.southerncountiesrescue.org/donate

Can you foster?

Someone just contacted our rescue asking for assistance. These three kittens were found outside and need shelter and socializing. If you can open your home and heart for a short time (these three look to be close to 2 months old) please contact Julie at 714-756-0679 (text please). They will need some TLC as they are afraid of people. (Probably with good reason, unfortunately) Orange County, North San Diego County please.
