Bottle Baby Foster Needed!

In order to prevent five bottle babies from being euthanized, a member of our rescue now has them at her house. We need another bottle feeder to share the load. These two are the oldest and will require less care than the other three. Please contact Julie at 714-756-0679 if you can take these two.

Having five bottle babies and working full time is too much for one person. We are asking for help so that all five have the best chance of survival. (The orange bubba now has his eyes completely open.)

Adoption Event: Saturday, October 6

These are some of the cats and kittens who may be at our next adoption event this Saturday, October 6, from noon to 4 pm at Petco, 32391 Camino Capistrano in San Juan Capistrano. You can see all of our adoptable cats and kittens at https://southerncountiesrescue.org/adopt.

Please complete a no-obligation adoption application (https://bit.ly/SCRAdopt) if you’d like to meet a particular kitty this Saturday. Not all kitties attend all events, and we give priority to those with applications on file.
â €
We’d also love volunteers from 11:15 to 12 for setup, and 4 to 4:45 pm for breakdown!

Happy Tails: Alvin

Alvin is a great cat and nobody deserves more than he does to be going to a super furrever home. He came to us as a bottle baby and nobody is sweeter, happier to be with people, or more easygoing and fun. Congrats, Alvin, and we’ll really miss you.â €

We have plenty of more young, friendly cats who need homes. Meet all our adoptable cats and kittens at https://www.southerncountiesrescue.org/adopt.

Rosie Needs a Home

This beautiful girl Rosie is approximately 8 years young. She was in a shelter in really bad shape, She was pulled from the shelter by someone in March. Unfortunately, Rosie’s rescuer is moving into another apartment on October 8 that doesn’t take pets, so Rosie is looking for another home. October 8 doesn’t give us a lot of time.

She has been completely vetted (including a dental cleaning, blood test and fecal), up to date on vaccines and we will make sure that she is tested for FeLV/FIV before placing her.

Please help us find a place for Rosie. If this person takes her to the shelter again, Rosie will not come out. I would love an adopter for her so that we cause her the least amount of stress possible. She still has a lot of years left to love and be loved. She is just gorgeous and according to her rescuer, a little shy at first but very much a love bug.

Text Julie at 714-756-0679 if you can help.

Adoption Event: September 29

Billie and her cat and kitten pals will be at our next adoption event this Saturday, September 29, noon to 4 pm at Petco, 32391 Camino Capistrano in San Juan Capistrano. You can see all of our adoptable cats and kittens at https://www.southerncountiesrescue.org/adopt.

We’d also love volunteers from 11:15 to 12 and 4 to 4:45 pm, too!

More fosters needed

These adorable kittens were dumped on the doorstep of a dog rescue. They don’t have a place for kittens except in a cage. Can anyone foster them? They are 6 weeks old and almost ready for adoption.â €

Orange County, North Orange County (our events are in San Juan Capistrano) would be awesome. Visit our website at southerncountiesrescue.org and complete our foster application or contact Julie at 714-756-0679 (text is best please). Thanks!

Foster needed

Once again someone has contacted us about an abandoned kitten. This little guy has a foster for a couple of days but then he will go to the shelter. His picture is adorable (a little blurry, but adorable!) and we would love to find a foster for him before he is turned in to the shelter. Orange County or very North San Diego County. Contact Julie at 714-756-0679 (text is best) if you can help us save him. We would probably put another young kitten with him so he has a buddy. Just look at those white feet!!!!
