Meet Chippy

Chippy was found in a car
He had wandered away, too far
He cried, he cried
He was found with sad eyes
So the little girl put him in a boxChippy was frightened
But with new friends, he brightened
And away he went to his foster homeChippy was sad
For he missed his mom and dad
But shortly, he met someone new
Hermione said, “you can be my friend!”

Chippy played and jumped
But he still felt down in the dumps
For he had been dreaming of his new forever home

Chippy is small and gray
In a new home, he will love you all day
He hopes you adopt him and a friend, too.

Join Selkie, her siblings, and cat and kitten buddies for our next adoption event this Saturday, September 1, noon to 4 pm at Petco, 32391 Camino Capistrano in San Juan Capistrano. You can see all of our adoptable cats and kittens at https://www.southerncountiesrescue.org/adopt or https://scr.petfinder.com. Please complete a no-obligation adoption application if you’d like to meet a particular kitty this Saturday.

We could also use volunteer help, from 11:15 am to 12 noon and 3:45 to 4:45 pm. Please drop us a note or come by Petco if you can help!

All of our kitties are fostered in homes so we know their personalities. We will help you make the perfect match… and if for some reason it doesn’t work out we will take our kitties back.
