Kitties of Summer Adoption Event: Saturday, July 14

Our next adoption event is this Saturday, July 21, from noon to 4 pm at Petco San Juan Capistrano, 32391 Camino Capistrano. The event will be full of characters like Harry & RonRon, Thelma & Louise, Batman, Alvin & Linus, Duke of Earl… all looking for their forever homes. Please come meet them.

All of our kitties are fostered in homes so we know their personalities. We will help you make the perfect match… and if for some reason it doesn’t work out we will take our kitties back.

Ten Cats Need Urgent Rescue

This is a distressing and terrible situation.  Terra lives in Perris, California.  Her neighbors disappeared in the middle of the night a few months ago, leaving 80 (yes, 80) cats alone in an apartment.  Terra has been working tirelessly to save these cats (and our rescue has already taken in some of them) but the landlord, who has been very patient until this point, has given her only until Friday to get the last ten cats out of the apartment (some of them are pictured above).  Otherwise, they will be sent to a high-kill Riverside County shelter.

All cats have been tested and are negative for FLV/FIV.  They are mostly between 4 months and a year old.  If you can rescue or foster, please contact Terra directly at 714-397-5462.  She can meet you to transport the cat or cats.

Urgent: Foster Needed

A foster in Orange County is urgently needed for these two sisters, around 11 months old.  Diamond (tabby & white) and Jade (Bombay mix) are shy at adoption events so we need a foster who can home show them to a prospective adopter.  Or the best of both worlds — an adopter who wants two adorable sisters who are shy initially but warm up and love you.   They are good with other cats.

The current foster is leaving town and we need to move them this week.  Please open up your heart to these two sweet girls. They literally have no place to go, they were rescued from a feral colony and cannot go back there.

The event is on Wednesday, July 25 at 6 pm at Polly’s in Laguna Hills. We’ll be painting the kitty you see on the flyer, and they tell us anyone can do it. (Your trusty social media volunteer will be the proof!)⠀
